An affiliate project is a project or activity in which one or more community members engage with the full support of the Vision Circle. As a result, these projects or activities can leverage the community's brand, intellectual property or other community resources which have been allocated or agreed upon by the Vision Circle. The main requirement for a project to be considered an "affialiate project" is that the project itself and those managing it must maintain their commitment to the community's Vision and Values.

An affiliate project can be something as transient as cooking a meal for a local battered women's center, or as enduring as a business. The details of any support the community gives or recieves through its association with the project are determined on a project-by-project basis.

Those engaging in an affiliate project are responsible for managing the activities and budget of the project. However, the Vision Circle has the final say in any disagreement between those engaged in the project and other community members.
