Upholding the community's Vision and Mission
I will show up in all contexts (inside and outside the community) as a living representative of the vision and mission held by the community. I understand that I don't need to be a recruiter or evangelist, I just need to behave in such a way that I am a living example.
Practicing the community’s shared values
I understand that there are times I may not live up to one or more of the values. In such times I encourage other community members to call me out and hold me accountable in a kind, loving and direct manner.
Participating faithfully in my chosen community team or teams
I understand that there may be times when I cannot give my chosen team or teams the necessary time or effort. In such times I encourage my fellow team members to approach me with their concerns and to hold conversations for the purpose of finding solutions that would allow me to better participate in the team’s activities and responsibilities. I also understand that I may switch teams from time to time.
Prompt payment of all financial obligations
I understand that there may be times when I have trouble meeting these obligations. In such times, I promise to notify the community bookkeeper and/or treasurer on or before the due date and also to work with the community on possible solutions to the issue in order to fulfill my obligations as quickly as possible.
Conflict Moderation
I understand that there may be times when I have a personal conflict with another community member and we just can’t seem to work it out. In such times, I will accept the appointment of a moderator and I promise to participate in moderated discussions, in good faith, for the purpose of resolving the issue and releasing all resentment.
