Even though the community may support several endeavours, our main source of income is the retreat center. As such, our primary activities revolve around the retreat center.

Life-Skills and Conflict Transformation Workshops

The community conducts structured educational workshops on conscious communication techniques, conflict management, and interpersonal resilience. Programs use a fixed curriculum including lectures, role-playing, and facilitated group discussions to instruct individuals on developing social-emotional capabilities.

These workshops are conducted by qualified community members and guest facilitators with expertise in mediation and communication at our residential educational laboratory and retreat facility in Blanco County, TX.

These programs provide instruction of individuals for the purpose of improving or developing their capabilities and take up about 60% of the community's efforts.

They are funded through program service fees and public donations.

Contemplative Practice and Wellness Retreats

We also host retreats focusing on spiritual and wellness practices such as yoga, meditation, and chi gong.

These programs are designed to reduce tension and promote calm clarity through guided instruction and silent contemplation and are intended to advance the mental well-being and spiritual development of the public and take up about 30% of the community's efforts.

Residential Educational Laboratory (Intentional Community)

Our residential component serves as a living demonstration of the communication techniques and life skills taught in our workshops. Public students observe and participate in consensus-based meetings to see "how to live in community" in a practical setting.
